LSU OL Will Campbell Signs Unique NIL Deal
USA TODAY Sports

Will Campbell has emerged as one of the top youngsters in all of college football, and after a dominant freshman campaign, he’s put his name on the map. Now, he’s become an NIL target with his latest deal catching the attention of many.

Campbell signed a deal with Sunshine Quality Solutions, a John Deere equipment dealer. It couldn’t be a more fitting name, image and likeness deal for Campbell, who grew up in Monroe, Louisiana with a familiarity in farming machinery.

The deal with Sunshine Quality, which services Louisiana and Mississippi, is the latest partnership Campbell has signed. On3’s Pete Nakos reported the agreement first.

“Campbell has an agricultural background and grew up on a farm in Louisiana,” Sunshine marketing manager Grace Vest said. “He understands the hard work it takes to be in a field all day, and that is something we want to showcase in Louisiana. Tying our John Deere equipment to players on one of Louisiana’s favorite fields, Tiger Stadium, is a unique way to connect our brand to football.”

The 17-location John Deere dealer has another name on their NIL list. LSU linebacker Harold Perkins inked a deal with the company in April as well. Perkins headlines the company’s “Best Player in the Field” campaign.

For Campbell, his stock is soaring in the NIL space after a standout freshman season, and as he enters Year 2 with the LSU program, we could see more deals head his way.

The former five-star offensive lineman proved his value during his first season in Baton Rouge. A Louisiana native, he continues representing his state in a big way after taking his talents to Death Valley.

Campbell’s second year under Brian Kelly and the Tigers coaching staff will give him the opportunity to take on more of a leadership role. After proving his value, and returning the entire offensive line unit, expectations are high in Baton Rouge this fall.
